(7.30 x 28.4931506849) days ago, the inimitable electronic duo Autechre's (7.30 - 0.30)th studio album turned (7.30 x 2.7397260274) years old. In celebration, we put together a little (7.30 - 0.30)-track collaboration! This album contains all ORIGINAL material inspired by the 2003 album (so Warp, if you see this, PLEASE don't send your legal eagles after us).

If you're familiar with DRAFT 7.30 (if you aren't, why not give it a listen? We'll be here. autechre.bandcamp.com/album/draft-730 ), you likely have a pretty good grasp on the zany medium-fidelity chrome-plated glitch pop-tinged IDM style that forms its world. Well, I'm happy to say that the FNL members and associates that feature here have all made works that stack up to my favorite of AE's releases! And these aren't soulless imitations-- each track is a wholehearted labor of love to the album, incorporating the contributors' own ideas and flairs seamlessly.

waavypanda, for example, starts us off on the right foot by reimagining the DRAFT modus operandi through the lens of his wacky sequencer ping-pong style. Elsewhere, Fire Is A Time Machine (Shady Monk's downtempo alter-ego) throws into the mix some breezy vibes inspired by Autechre's peers at Boards of Canada. New face fmulator's "12bit lownmoweer3" is not to be missed, reminiscent of the sound palettes of LSDJ, nanoloop, and the pocket operator line deployed into a metaphorical blender! And that's just the tip of the iceberg; every track on here is a showstopper! We hope you enjoy it! ^_^
