clusterfunk graced the world with her debut album "suburban hood classics" on SEE YOU NEXT GAME! last 2022. and by "graced the world" i really mean TOTALLY CHANGED THE WORLD OF BREAKS MUSIC AND FOOTWORK FOREVER, even if you didn't realize it. and now she's back and better than ever. yes i am intentionally contradicting her previous quote

this album is called clstrfnk!, because vowels are the most overworked letters of the alphabet and if anything are the ones most deserving of a break. it's also her best work released yet, imo and iho (in her opinion). her wild brand of bouncy plunderphonic drum and bass that was officially introduced in SHC is taken to even wilder, even more monumental heights.

we're talking madcap percussive nonsense with equally wacky melodic arpeggiated samples, featuring a blend of clean and clear sounds and glitchy, lo-bit textural notes in perfectly measured doses. "cpu burner" is the perfect example of what i mean-- notice the constantly shifting drumlines and mind-bending stab melodies? its unbelievable, until you start believing it, which makes it more awesome.

and that's far from all. there's an appearance by clusterfunk's side project, proxc, on "gitlow". then there's "huh?" which takes footwork into the 22nd century. "below-average dj" is an emotional rollercoaster that only ever goes upwards on average. and how about bonus tracks for downloaders and buyers, you ask? what luck-- you get three of them!! we're practically giving them away!

i'd say more, but... ironically now I'M the one that needs to get some sleep now ehehe. plus i don't want to spoil too much of the experience-- thankfully, this album is so dense in awesome moments that even the parts i talked about earlier may still catch you by pleasant surprise. enjoy clusterfunk's latest and most bonkers musical creations! now i sleeb
