waavypanda's third studio album (and fifth release overall) for FNL is an immaculately uncanny album. I'm sure you've heard the term "Uncanny Valley" thrown around wantonly, but this blisteringly odd album definitely earns that descriptor wholeheartedly. waavypanda's latest musical world sets up shop right smack dab in the middle of the gradient between jolly and unnerving!

This release relies greatly upon arpeggiated melodies that are absolutely LOOPY. On some tracks, the notes seem to be fighting each other for attention, to the point where some of them even merge like single-celled organisms in reverse. "FUN!!!" is the album's title and modus operandi; a declaration of something normally seen as a boon, yet shouted so loudly and frighteningly that you're not sure whether to cheer in enthusiasm or holler in shock.

It's as if traversing a candy-colored doctor's office full of memphis-esque furniture, yet whilst looking for the exam room you've been appointed to, the hallways seem to go on and on and on, and you're not sure whether you're getting closer to or farther from your destination, and all the while the walls and floors just seem to be tilting in odd directions, ever so slightly...

It's a doozy. Enjoy!
