rémineur, France's very own microhouse maestro, has put together quite the sizeable repertoire of projects over just about a year and a half. They've led no less than three successful cassette albums on Illuminated Paths, along with drops on GENOM and B O G U S // COLLECTIVE, plus many other self-released works. And for their latest, they've joined forces with yours truly.

Presenting "harmful beats"! A mold-breaking minimalistic EP featuring some jaunty bite-sized delights. Crossing the double-digit track amount mark (not everyday you see a 15-track EP!) and garnishing them with cryptic, symbol-laden titles and a funky Adobe Flash-esque cover art, this release draws you in. And the music keeps you there; the music is stark and spacious, though not unfinished-sounding. In fact, the simplistic production really lets rémineur's wacky sound pallete shine! This big project in a small package is tons of fun on a bun, and may just get you itching to cut loose on the microscopic dance floor. Have fun!
