Dara is back on fakenumberland for another round of wonderful works of breezy ambient art. Still remaining very secretive and hush, Dara prefers to let the music do the talking. Good call, because if you know anything about this project, it's that the music is quite the eloquent speaker!

Breaking away a bit from the fuzzy buzz of their previous album "You!!", this sophomore outing chooses to wander new paths. "Oh!, Just Above The Clouds" augments the project's established style of sustained rhythmic arpeggios with melodies that are tighter and brighter. These are obtained through a wider variety of sounds evoking the 16-bit realm, giving much of the album a day-glow aesthetic.

The distinctive haze remains, albeit elements exploding over them more often, like dolphins or flying fish maneuvering a sea of sound. Everything ultimately builds up to a bombastic bliss storm of a closer. With all this in mind, It's no wonder that I find this album an incredibly refreshing experience. Hopefully, you'll be singing a similar tune once you put this album on! Enjoy! ^_^
